Over 90 million people have signed up for Bumble to start building valuable relationships, finding friends, and making empowered connections. Creating new connections has never been easier. Bumble is working to lift the stigma of online dating by employing unprecedented standards for respectful behavior. Because of this relentless dedication, millions of people are using Bumble to build valuable relationships every single day. DATE, MEET FRIENDS, NETWORK Bumble is at the forefront of matchmaking technology by providing an app that allows users to foster more than just romantic connections. The industry-leading app empowers users to swipe through potential connections across three different modes: Bumble Date: On Bumble Date, women make the first move. We’ve changed the archaic rules of the dating game so that you can form meaningful relationships in a respectful way. Bumble BFF: Life is better with friends. Whether you’re new to a city or looking to expand your circle, Bumble BFF is the easiest way to make new friends. Bumble Bizz: Now we’re in business. Use Bumble Bizz to network, find mentors, and create new career opportunities. Bumble is the first app of its kind to bring dating, friend-finding, and career-building into a single social networking platform. CHANGING THE RULES OF THE GAME At Bumble, women make the first move. In heterosexual matches, the woman has 24 hours to make the first move and the man has 24 hours to respond. In same-sex matches, either person has 24 hours to make the first move, while the other individual has 24 hours to respond, or else, the connection expires. By prompting our users to be bold and make the first move we’ve seen over 3 billion messages sent to date. THE BUZZ IS REAL “Bumble exists to empower women...” (Fast Company) “Bumble is just an app: but it’s changing the discussion.” (Wired) “Bumble offers an alternative that prioritises meaningful connections, with women calling the shots:” (UK Sunday Times) “Bumble rejects hate speech to make users feel safe on its dating app” (Texas Standard) “What makes Bumble different from other dating apps...is its focus on giving women all the power. ” (Business Insider) --- Bumble is free to download and use, and that will never change for our main features. • Troubleshooting

I don’t really care for the swipe option because sometimes you accidentally swipe left when you we’re trying to swipe up. I feel match.com has a better set up where you X out the match .
  • Locked out of account

I’ve used bumble before and loved it but deleted my account due to finding someone. I recently made a new account and starting using it only to find several hours later I couldn’t log in cause it flagged me as “under 18”. Im currently 19 almost 20 (though I look younger) and was quite annoyed by this. Wondering if there is a way to resolve this otherwise I won’t be able to ever use my phone to log into this app again. Thank you.
  • Definitely NOT Empowering Women

    By everynicknameittaken
So let's break this down.... Women have to do all the work and men just get to sit back and pick which women they want most. Think of it like this... men can swipe right on every single woman regardless of their actual interest. If they do, they have the ability to know about *any* possible match. Then, if there is a match, the men don't have to do anything. Women have to do the work to write the first message, and it's likely safe to assume they'll only write to men whom they are truly interested in. Then they have to wait to see if the guy actually writes back (which very often he does not per my own and friends' experiences, at least). So that's an emotional and time investment women are having to put out, with minimal return on investment. Yeah sure, it's minimal investment if you have the right strategies, but it adds up over time as well. Back to the guys now... They now have messages giving them even more insight into each woman, they get to pick and choose who they want to spend their time replying to, and they aren't wasting the same type of time writing to matches who might be bots, not really interested, or for whatever reason not engaged with/active on the site because these women have already taken the time to make an investment and so the men have "proof" they are "real," or at least engaged enough to initiate conversation. The end result... the site creates an environment where women invest more time and get less results and men invest less time and get more results. Hmmmmmm..... same old, same old societal norm.

  • Better selection that tinder, Lower response rate

    By lbap013
Male matches tend to not respond despite your best efforts to come up with something unique/witty/clever. Honestly tinder might be better for bigger cities because while you have to sift through a LOT, you’re more likely to get hit back.
  • Really not great

First, as a lot of people complained about here (pretty much every review), is that the woman has to message first. That is so stupid and makes it so much more difficult. Second, only having 24 hours to start a convo, and then them only having 24 hours to respond or they’re “gone forever” is stupid. The limit is stupid, and the gone forever and time stamp is like forcing and pushy as hell also just dramatic. Really a waste of time, especially since this app is specifically made to be one of the dating apps that’s actually taken seriously for people looking to date and it’s only people looking for hookups. You shouldn’t be allowed on the app if that’s all you’re looking for.

  • Bumble is trash just like the rest of the dating apps.

    By McAwesome23
I have given bumble a try. My issue is whenever I added someone it would be nothing but escorts or spam. I did make one friend off of there but this is out of the entire time I’ve had the bumble for the past several months. I can’t tumble a try because one of my female friends recommended it. I was told that I would find kind hearted loving people that are not judge mental. It is clear to me that this app is nothing but trash and a waste of time and I would never recommend it to anyone
  • Move the Date Mode Button

    By princesspeach202
Recently, I started using bumble date and bumble bff. A few days ago I tried to switch modes and hit the “date mode” button by accident. I lost all of my matches and conversations from bumble date. I have multiple issues with the “date mode” feature. For one, why permanently delete the matches? If anything just give people the option to temporarily hide the matches/conversations when you turn date mode off. Two, if you’re going to have a feature that deletes all of a person’s conversations you should make sure that feature has some sort of warning message. Putting that info in small font under the button doesn’t help. For example, y’all could implement a trigger/warning message to be sent once someone hits the button. Finally, the placement of the button is awful. It’s right below the option to change modes and above the snooze option. I personally found it confusing. Overall, this is a social media app so the focus should be on making it easier for people to connect not harder.

I’m unable to login using FB for no apparent reason. Reinstalled the app. Still can’t login. The app redirects to Fb and appears to get back to the bumble app but then nothing happens. I’ve video captured it if a dev wants to reach out for more info.
